Le Zénith Sud, a stage inspired by Mediterranean passions.
Designed by architects Chaix and Morel - like le Zénith in Paris, le Zénith in Montpellier opened in 1986 and was re-named Le Zénith Sud in 2001.The stage celebrates the new century with a declaration of its Mediterranean culture and identity: the backcloth is a bright yellow and the foyer has been turned into a friendly meeting place decorated predominantly in red, with the bars covered in multicoloured mosaics...
The person behind this transformation is Claude Marre, a Montpellier architect, who specialises in renovating and transforming public places, paying particular attention to their individual identity.
One of his latest works is the renovation of the Ecole Louis Lumičre' in Noisy-le-Grand.
