In response to the growing requirements of exhibition organisers and visitors, Montpellier's Exhibition Centre has undergone significant renovations since 1994: these have included the construction of a modern foyer, a new main hall, a tenth covered hall providing the site with a second entrance, a twelfth hall with a flexible layout for shows/concerts and newly renovated trade terraces and parking areas...
The project manager behind these reforms is the Montpellier agency BBA architecture, founded by Denis Bedeau and Philippe Bonon, a renowned firm of architects responsible for the building of the Dell Computer offices (10,000 m²) and the Stade de la Mosson (35,000 seats).
